Description

A Twelve-Cup Muffin Tray in 1mm Carbon Steel

Twelve deep cups in heavy-gauge carbon steel, the sort of tray that turns out a full dozen risen evenly and coloured the same. The metal matters more here than the recipe.

  • Even heat: 1mm carbon steel conducts heat faster and more evenly than aluminium or stainless, so all twelve rise together.
  • Roomy 120ml cups: Cups are 7.5cm deep and hold about 120ml; fill two thirds for a good domed rise.
  • Reinforced coating: A non-stick finish made without PFOA, reinforced to resist wear, so cases are optional.
  • Sweet or savoury: Carbon steel does not hold flavour between bakes, so muffins one day and egg bites the next is fine.
  • Will not warp: Heavy-gauge steel that keeps its shape, behind a ten-year guarantee.

Perfect For

Muffins and cupcakes, but also Yorkshire puddings, individual sponges, egg bites and mini frittatas. Anything that needs depth to rise.

Wrenbury is a small bakeware business in Lincolnshire. In 2010 we bought a high street kitchen shop that had traded since 1986, and spent years watching which tins lasted and which came back. Our own range is built on that knowledge: heavy-gauge carbon steel, non-stick that actually releases, and a 10-year guarantee on every tin.
