Wash each piece by hand in warm soapy water and towel dry straight away rather than leaving it to sit wet, which protects both the coating and the carbon steel underneath. Use a soft sponge rather than a metal scourer, and soak off anything stubborn instead of scrubbing hard. A light wipe of oil now and then helps if you bake less often.
